Washing machine

The short version

Detergent is in the glass jar in the tall bathroom cupboard. Turn the knob 2 clicks right for 40 °C or 3 for 60 °C, put detergent in the leftmost compartment and press the bottom-right button.

Before washing, please take the decorations off the top of the machine so they don’t fall off during spinning. A drying rack is in the storage room to the left of the kitchen.

Step by step

    Get the detergent

    Detergent is in a glass jar in the tall cupboard in the bathroom, next to the shower.

  2. Laundry in the drum with the door closed

    Load the laundry

    Put the laundry in the drum and close the door until it clicks.

    Add detergent

    Pull out the drawer on the left side of the machine and put the detergent in the leftmost compartment.

  4. Turning the programme knob

    Choose the temperature

    Turn the knob to the right: 2 clicks for 40 °C (everyday laundry) or 3 clicks for 60 °C (towels and bedding).

  5. Pressing the start button

    Press start

    Press the bottom-right button. The machine starts after a moment.

Something not working?

Nothing happens when I press start

Check that the door is shut properly (push until it clicks) and that the knob is on a programme, not off.

The door won't open after washing

The door stays locked for a minute or two after the programme ends. Wait a moment and try again.
